2. Mamma Mia!

A musical comedy tribute to ABBA that narrates the journey of the bride-to-be Sophie (Amanda Seyfried), trying to find the truth about her real father. She invites the three possible candidates to her wedding, without telling her mother Donna (Meryl Streep), something that serves for a lot of fun moments, surrounded by the enchanted background of Greece and the memorable songs of the Swedish group.  


3. Eat Pray Love

A comedy that follows the life of Henry Roth (Adam Sandler) a man very afraid to commit to anyone until he meets the girl of his dreams, Lucy, who sadly suffers from short-term memory. This story, located in a Hawaiian paradise, shows that love can definitely conquer all.

A recent tragedy makes the only possible way to recover for Cheryl Strayed (Resee Witherspoon) to hike 1,100 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail. This movie captures the sheer determination of this young woman and her experience through out this incredible journey of self-healing.

This story happens in the 20th century colonial Kenya, were the Danish baroness Karen (Meryl Streep) has an unforgettable love affair with the free spirited hunter Denys (Robert Redford). 7. Seven Years in Tibet

Nothing beats reality! Based on the life of Heinrich Harrer (Brad Pitt) an Austrian mountain climber that befriends the Dalai Lama at the moment of China’s takeover of Tibet. While Heinrich talks to the child about the world’s curiosities, he is exposed to teachings of Lord Buddha.  


8. Before Sunrise

Destination: Vienna, Austria

A romance tale of an American tourist, Jesse (Ethan Hawke) and French student, Celine (Julie Delpy) that started by chance on the train from Budapest to Vienna. The incredible connection they share makes them want to spend a full day together, before his scheduled flight back home the next day.


9. Cocktail

Destination: Port Antonio, Jamaica

This memorable Tom Cruise movie was filmed on Jamaica’s northeast coast town of Port Antonio. The story of Brian Flanagan, a talented New York City bartender (Cruise) that takes a job at a bar in Jamaica and falls in love with an upper class girl, Jordan Mooney (Elizabeth Shue). This match starts one very complicated love tale, served around the most beautiful surroundings.


10. Tracks

Destination: Flinders Ranges, Australia

This Australian drama is an adaptation of Robyn Davidson’s (Lily Pearl) memoir, chronicling the author’s nine-month journey across the desert. The 1,700 miles trek through West Australia consisted of four camels and the young woman faithful dog.
