My honeymooners’ 10 favorite destinations

The honeymoon is a unique opportunity where the two of you are allowed to unplug from your job and duties. It is a time to enjoy with your beloved one with no remorse. This is why you should find the perfect destination and make of your honeymoon an unforgettable and luxurious experience.

Based on my honeymooners’ favorite destinations, I’ll give you a list of luxury places and hotels that you should definitively consider while making your honeymoon plans.

Bali is an Indonesian island known as a touristic destination worldwide. It is perfect for honeymooners that are looking for relaxing and sunny days. I recommend the The Legian, where the facilities and accommodations are absolutely beautiful and the service is exceptional.

If you want to experience a different atmosphere, Marrakech might be a really special destination. Marrakech means God’s land in Arabian, and it is one of the most important cities in Morocco.  To stay in a place like no other, consider the Palais Namaskar, a majestic place with palaces, villas, suites and rooms with contemporary interiors and Moorish architecture.

This insular country has become a mandatory destination since 1970. The amazing beaches of the over 1200 islands that conform this country are amazingly clear and beautiful.  In hotels like the Constance Halaveli you would find the balance between relaxation, adventure and romance.

Seychelles is well known by its beaches but you’ll also find luxury accommodation in hotels like Maia Luxury Resort & Spa. And, one must, beside the beaches, is visiting the botanical garden where you can see gigantic turtles and other endemic species.

Bora Bora
This atoll of the French Polynesia at the south of the Pacific Ocean is separated from the sea by a reef that surrounds a lagoon with an extinct volcano in its center. The water is not only crystalline but turquois and over it there are plenty of bungalows where you’ll remember neither your home nor any other resort. We recommend the Four Season Bora Bora Resort where you’ll fall in love with the Polynesian cuisine, the luxurious over-water bungalows and the Spa.

Abu Dhabi
If you think that desert and romance do not match, wait to see Anantara Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort where the spa, the emirati heritage, the dunes and the most luxurious accommodations are waiting for you to have the best of 1001 Arabian Nights.

This is one of the famous districts of the princedom of Monaco. You should evade it on summer and during Formula 1 Grand Prix season to avoid crowds. Monte-Carlo is all glamour and luxury. Imagine visiting the 19th Cathedrale de Monaco and shopping for the best labels from around the globe at Espace Mirage. Have a quiet dinner at Sea Lounge, where quiet dinners evolve into all-night parties.  You can stay at The Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo in the heart of Monaco right on Monte-Carlo’s famous Place du Casino.

If you are more of a city traveler, London might be the one. With a very diverse cultural offer and many heritage places, it is an amazing destination. If you stay in Rosewood London, I’m sure you’ll have the most luxurious and romantic honeymoon ever.

This circular reef on the southwest of the continental Greece is formed by volcanic islands. The beaches, the archeological sites, the museums and the winery make of Santorini a special destination for honeymooners. If you want a guaranteed great experience, stay at Katikies. From the architecture to the view it will be a place to remember.

The one and only. If you are more traditional and you want to find the love everywhere, Paris might be the right choice. The Hotel Le Bristol is the perfect place for you to experience the city of love. With over 90 years of experience, the also known as “Palace hotel”, offers distinguish attention to every one of its guests. Getting to know Paris from Le Bristol will make of your honeymoon an endearing travel.
